Characteristic are the cycle itineraries across the Alberese plain, close to the Uccellina Mountains, therefore in the protected area of the Maremma Regional Natural Park, which lead to the mouth of the Ombrone river, starting from the Rispescia hamlet. Precisely Marina di Alberese it has a rich asphalted avenue in the shade made of tall pine trees, which accompanies the cyclist both inside the hamlet and outside away from the chaos, one step away from the sea, this is the famous stretch of the route A7, a cycle path that passes pastures and farms where the Maremma cows, guided by Butteri, they move slowly a few steps away from us and where time seems to stop.

There are real Grand Tours that start from the vast ones Metalliferous Hills until’Tuff area, passing through Monte Amiata, the hills of Manciano, the Argentario and the Grosseto countryside, to return to the Maremma coast up to the characteristic Castiglione della Pescaia (not to be missed, near Castiglione, a cycling excursion to the Diaccia Botrona Provincial Nature Reserve) and again on the metal hills. Or for sea lovers, you can opt for the Ciclopista del Sole, which favors the coastal area and the immediate hinterland of the Grosseto Maremma and extends for about a hundred kilometres. It starts from Follonica and at Marina di Grosseto it turns inland passing through the capital, continuing up to Magliano in Toscana and touching one of the richest towns in the history of the Maremma, namely Orbetello.
From Orbetello you can easily reach all the other locations on Monte Argentario, thus having the opportunity to slowly savor those breathtaking views between sky and sea. There are many Nature Reserves that are the jewel in the crown of the Tuscan Maremma, such as the Feniglia Reserve or the Orbetello Lagoon itself. The roads that connect the towns of Monte Argentario are both asphalted and still ancient mule tracks or so-called wild boar roads. These routes called Customs were the final part of those routes that over the centuries saw the Transhumant flocks arrive in Maremma from Romagna, Pistoiese, Casentino and Fiorentino.
